Welcome to Paper Jam. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Paper Jam website (paper-jam.com) and your subscription to the Paper Jam print club. By using our website or subscribing to our service, you agree to these Terms.

Paper Jam is operated by Paper Jam, based in Portland, Oregon, United States.

1. About Paper Jam

Paper Jam is a monthly subscription service that delivers a curated set of printed pieces — including original art prints, artist letters, custom stickers, and rotating elements — to subscribers each month. Each edition is designed and produced by the Paper Jam team.

2. Subscriptions

Signing up. When you subscribe to Paper Jam, you agree to a recurring monthly charge billed to your chosen payment method. Your subscription begins immediately upon successful payment and continues until cancelled by you.

Pricing. The current subscription price is listed on our website. Domestic shipping is included in the US base price; international shipping is calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we do, we'll notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Billing. Your subscription will automatically renew each month on your billing date. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Shopify Payments). You authorize us to charge your payment method for each renewal.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we'll attempt to charge your payment method again over the following days. If we can't successfully process payment, your subscription may be paused or cancelled, and you'll be notified by email.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your subscription management portal. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you'll receive any editions you've already been billed for, and you won't be charged again.

We don't offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing cycles. If you've been charged for an edition that hasn't shipped yet, you'll still receive that edition.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Paper Jam editions ship in the first week of each month. We currently ship to the United States and internationally.

Shipping times:

• United States: typically 3–5 business days after shipment

• International: typically 7–14 business days after shipment, depending on destination

Shipping address. You're responsible for keeping your shipping address current in your subscription portal. We aren't responsible for editions shipped to outdated addresses you didn't update before the billing date.

Lost or damaged shipments. If your edition arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all, email us at shop@paper-jam.com within 30 days of the expected delivery date. We'll work with you to send a replacement or issue a refund where appropriate.

International shipping. International subscribers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by their country. These charges are not included in your subscription price.

5. Refunds

Because Paper Jam is a curated subscription product, we don't offer refunds for editions that have already shipped. However, we'll always work with you on a case-by-case basis if something goes wrong — including damaged shipments, lost mail, or significant production errors. Reach out and we'll figure it out.

6. Intellectual Property

All content created by Paper Jam — including art prints, designs, illustrations, written content, branding, and website materials — is the intellectual property of Paper Jam and its creator. You're welcome to display the prints in your home, gift them to friends, and share photos of your editions on social media. You may not reproduce, resell, or commercially distribute Paper Jam content without written permission.

7. Website Use

You agree to use our website lawfully and respectfully. You may not attempt to interfere with the operation of the site, gain unauthorized access to any accounts or systems, or use the site for any illegal purpose.

8. Account Information

When you subscribe, you may create an account or access your subscription through a secure magic link emailed to you. You're responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your account secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Paper Jam, you agree to the practices described there.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paper Jam is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or subscription service. Our total liability for any claim related to your subscription is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify subscribers by email. Continued use of our service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Multnomah County, Oregon.
